Proof Positivity: This Child Deserves an Award

Roane County, West Virginia

Seven year old Christopher Carpenter won a new 16 inch Huffy Rockit at his school’s carnival. Christopher could have kept the bike but he knew a child that needed it far more than he did. He gave the bike to four year old Marshall Sloter.

Marshall’s home was destroyed in a fire on April 24th. The family has lost everything. They are currently living with family.

Christopher’s mother said that he is typically very giving. He came up with the idea of giving the bike away.

If you would like to donate to the Sloter family you can call
1(304) 577-6598.

Christopher you are a great little boy. Don’t let the world change you.

  9. I’m happy this has become a venue to celebrate this little boy’s good deed. Christopher needs to be celebrated. What he has done is such a wonderful thing.

  10. You have done a great thing, Christopher. And because you did it out of kindness and generosity, I know the Lord shall repay you two fold. While many people choose to look away or walk away when others need help, you decided to unselfishly act on behalf of another. It takes true courage and character to do what you did, and I am happy to join the others here and celebrate "you."

  11. I could not be any more proud of you. You make us all so privledged to even know you. Maybe the rest of the world could follow you in your giving spirit and making this world a better and kinder place to live. Who would of thought that a 7 year old would have done this type of thing, maybe the world should follow in his footsteps. You will always be my favorite grandson.

    Love
    Mamaw Janie
