The main forms of blood cancer are lymphoma, leukemia and multiple myeloma. These cancers are formed either in the bone marrow or the lymphatic tissues of the body. In 2003, it was estimated that about 106,200 Americans will be diagnosed with one of the blood cancers and about 57,500 will die from the disease. No one knows what causes blood cancer.
